It feels so good to finish off a job.
Oh wait...
We now have a hole in the eaves out the back. Again, we had a leak that we couldn't figure out, after siliconing everything possible, and trying everything we could think of. Hopefully we will be able to find the source quickly, so that this hole doesn't hang around for as long as the front on did! Luckily our leaks are pretty minor, and actually only run into the eaves, not the house.
*This is one of those posts where when I write 'we' in regards to doing something, I mean I had nothing to do with it...
Actually, I did clean up afterwards.
Do you have jobs that never seem to quite get finished?
The jobs are somewhat endless aren't they? As much as I am loving all the new walls in my house, the epic amount of painting ahead is quite daunting. Just enjoy ticking something off the list and get as much done as you can before having kids as after that you will wonder what on earth you wasted your time on before they came along! mel x
ReplyDeleteWe have a lot of painting ahead of us too! All upstairs and outside. We will get there eventually! Your house is looking amazing! x
DeleteYes! My fireplace and patching holes from misguided screws!
ReplyDeleteHahaha. Oh dear! x
DeleteHa,ha every finished job is to be celebrated. We have had enough rain lately to spring leaks everywhere, so much for a dry winter.
ReplyDeleteHaha! True! This rain has been crazy! x
DeleteYour updates arent coming up on blogger for some reason?
ReplyDeleteDidn't realise you were still blogging. Good to see your updates. In renovation mode myself :-)
Oh, I don't know why that is? I've been a bit busy and slack lately! I've been loving seeing your renos. x
DeleteThis time around, we have a builder doing all the work - but I am doing the contract administration which is taking up more time than I'd like. My jobs that never get finished are the washing and cleaning - a never ending cycle. xx
ReplyDeleteEven with just the two of us, that never ends for me :)
